The Intelligent Practice
Dear valued client:
2017 has been a busy and productive year for AdvancedMD. I’m pleased to announce some important additions to AdvancedEHR, AdvancedTelemedicine, AdvancedScheduling and our AdvancedPatient engagement suite. And to help you integrate these services into your practice, we have expanded our professional services team. Our focus this year is to help you deliver better clinical outcomes through our tremendously popular suite of fully integrated products.
Professional services combines best-in-class cloud products with a team of experienced professionals to provide a world-class implementation experience, including supplemental training, consulting services, custom work and certification training. This team can guide you through AdvancedMD setup, education and webinar training, cater your training experience to your learning preferences and schedule, maximize your success through the Insurance Carrier Enrollment process, ensure a stress-free conversion and help you become proficient in running AdvancedMD integrated technologies.
The AdvancedMD all-in-one success platform integrates multiple AdvancedMD technologies. It’s not just about practice management or EHR, or patient engagement anymore. It’s about the integrated suite, the integrated workflow between the physician, staff and patient. This integrated workflow leverages everything from the time the patient is looking for a doctor online, to reading reviews about providers, to online scheduling, visiting with a doctor, e-prescribing, sending patient statements and managing collections. We understand the value of keeping patients happy in today’s competitive climate of empowered consumers.
Transition your practice into the next phase of practice management, where EHR, PM, RCM, patient engagement, business analytics reporting, and physician-performance benchmarking are integrated. It’s an easy way for your practice to receive more benefits from technology, which will allow you and your office staff to dedicate your time to tasks requiring human interaction, and help physicians and clinical staff focus on the most important concern – patient care.
Our goal is to ensure every independent physician in America has the same tools and capabilities one could have at a large enterprise organization. I encourage you to read my recent article on Why Integrated Workflow is a Must-have for a Physician’s Practice. The integrated workflow vision is a single solution for every area of your practice.
As always, please contact us with questions or suggestions. Thank you for your continued business and support. Please share this newsletter with everyone in your practice.

Innovation Update from Product & Engineering
Technology in healthcare and as a whole is changing the way we live, work and play. Because of this, we actively develop new technologies that benefit the way you live, work and play. Every product or enhancement we implement is driven by the desire to make your life easier and more productive.
EHR technology has revolutionized how independent practices manage data. But there’s the complication of data overload and prioritization of knowing what to do next. When we looked at all the jobs you need to do, we recognized the essential need for workflow integration across all areas of your practice. It’s a more unified experience than we’ve ever offered. From scheduling, to rooming, from charting to billing. Everything is integrated. Watch this informative video to see our new AdvancedEHR.
As you may have noticed, AdvancedTelemedicine can now be accessed directly from AdvancedPM. That’s right, no more switching between PM to EHR to start a virtual visit. We’ve seen a number of hybrid technologies and providers trying to steal patients through their use of telemedicine, so you’re now armed with the first fully integrated telehealth solution for private practices and better yet, allows you to treat more patients without taking on additional overhead.
AdvancedScheduling now has an enhanced date picker and month view calendars, improved templates and additional improvements that are both functional and visual.
AdvancedPatient now offers patient email and text messaging, so you can communicate with your patients more frequently, and in the manner they prefer. It’s a simple tool that helps you streamline the patient experience so you see higher satisfaction, retention and referral rates. An included feature, AdvancedReminders, let‘s you see more patients, increase patient satisfaction and gives you an additional revenue stream. Look for our upcoming online scheduling and provider/visit surveys scheduled to launch this spring.
Below is a list of the most recent innovative products and enhancements created to change your lives for the better.

Overall, the practice estimates it has more than 30,000 patients in its system. “We couldn’t do the volume we do in our office with our current staff if we didn’t use the AdvancedMD billing service,” said Patricia Zambrello, practice manager. “We would need two additional full-time employees to handle our insurance billing.
